【摘要】:Thispracticeisusedcommonlybyvehicleserviceorlaboratorypersonnelforsamplingandpreparingaqueoussolutionsofenginecoolantsorantirustforfurtherevaluationandtesting.ThispracticeshallbefollowedwhensamplingandpreparingaqueoussolutionsofproductsforevaluationinASTMtestmethods.Caremustbetakentoensurethatarepresentativesampleofproductistaken.Thispracticedescribesseveraldifferenttestmethods.Themethodstobefollowedshouldbeagreedtobythesupplierandthecustomer.1.1Thispracticecoversinformationonsamplingandpreparingsolutionsofenginecoolantsandantirusts(Notes1and2).1.2ThevaluesstatedinSIunitsaretoberegardedasthestandard.Thevaluesgiveninparenthesesareapproximateequivalentsgivenforinformationonly.1.3Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.Note18212;Antirustasreferredtointhispracticecoversproductsintendedforuseinautomotive/light-dutyandheavy-dutyapplicationsinwhichwaterisusedasthecoolingmedium.Note28212;Antirustproductsareavailableinliquidandsolidform.SolidsshouldbehandledasoutlinedinAnnexA1.
